Almond Tree Detached (Coloured Ground)
Almond Tree was created after admiring the beautiful trees and bushes that are depicted in Mughal paintings. Intrigued by the fact that every single leaf was painted by hand, creating a strong movement. Using the same technique, we hand painted the individual leaves and grouped them into different bushes, obtaining a dynamic and elegant pattern which evokes movement and flow in every direction. This pattern is also available with fully attached bush segments rather than the spaced, detached version seen here.
