Enchanted by a collection of beautiful old Japanese illustrations, made as designs for Hachinohe Horse decorations, we created this tribute to the stunning hand carved wooden horse.
Ours is a simplified version, hand painted with a wobbly and naive style, retaining the charming characteristics of the folk movement we were inspired by.
